COVID-19 Information

19th May 2020:

Thank you for your support in ensuring pupils are kept safe, well and able to learn at home during this unprecedented time with the Coronavirus outbreak.  As a school, we are hugely appreciative of how our community has come together to support one another.

With regards to our Trust wide position, we remain committed to following the latest government advice.  From 1st June 2020, and subject to further direction from government, we will begin to open our nursery, reception, Year 1 and Year 6 classes for all pupils within those year groups.    Below you will find all our communication to parents relating to this matter. This page will be continually updated with all our letters so please do keep checking for updates. Additionally, you can contact the school via telephone or email should you have a specific question, or matter, you would like to discuss.

Across the Inspire Partnership family of schools we are committed to ensuring each of our schools remain open for children and families.  Fundamentally, our mission is to serve communities and we recognise that now more than ever this is required.

From Monday all of our schools will be open to provide support for families of key workers and pupils who we have identified as in need of additional care.  In addition to this, we will be providing meals for children eligible for free school meals.  This includes those children in key stage one and reception.  If your child(ren) fall outside this category we would like you to let us know as we do not want any child to be disadvantaged by the current situation.

We will continue to communicate with families across the school.  Staff have been assigned keeping in touch phone calls and we will update websites and social media regularly.  This will include information about home learning.  If you have limited access to the internet, we will also provide hard copy learning packs for children to collect.  Please speak to your child’s teacher if you require support with any learning resources.  Our wrap around provision for breakfast and after school clubs will also be operating.

To help families and children understand what has happened and the implications for families, we have created a short video that can be viewed here

Lastly, we would like to thank you all for your continued support for our school.  It means so much to all of our staff to know we are able to work closely together for the good of our children at this difficult time.
