There are a just a few updates today which largely relate to the updated guidance from central government relating to the funding of free school meals provision over the Easter period.  You will be aware that the government announced an extension of the funding to include the Easter break, which Inspire Partnership schools had already committed to providing. 

1. Easter holiday food provision

Please be aware that because we have plans in place already to provide food packages to families over the Easter period, we will not be issuing food vouchers until after the second week of the Easter break is completed.  This means our position has not changed.  We are providing food packages for families in receipt of the free school meals and will then revert to the food voucher scheme after Easter.  It would be helpful if schools could update the school website to clarify our position.  Many thanks.

1. Local authority and community support for families in hardship

We are increasingly aware of a number of families who may be struggling during this period due to a range of factors including loss of work or reduced income.
