Delce Academy

Ofsted and Performance Information

Ofsted inspects schools to provide information to parents, to promote improvement and to hold schools to account for the public money they receive. School inspections are required by law. Ofsted provide an independent assessment of the quality and standards of education in schools, and check whether pupils are achieving as much as they can.

We are absolutely thrilled to share the fantastic news from our recent Ofsted inspection. It is with great pride and joy that we announce Delce Academy has been rated a GOOD school in all areas - please see the report attached below. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the dedication, hard work and commitment of our entire school community including many others in our Trust who have supported the school over the years.

This momentous accomplishment reflects our unwavering belief that every child has limitless potential. At Delce Academy, we are committed to fostering an environment where every student can thrive and succeed. Our collective efforts, guided by the shared vision that 'At Delce We Do Belong,' have truly made a difference in the lives of our pupils.

The Ofsted report highlights the strengths of our school, including the quality of teaching, the progress and outcomes of our pupils and the effectiveness of our leadership. It also underscores the positive and nurturing atmosphere that permeates our academy, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported. It also recognises the positive impact of the Trust, and those responsible for governance, noting their positive impact on the school’s journey.

We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated staff, whose passion and hard work have been instrumental in achieving this recognition. Their commitment to providing an excellent education and creating a supportive environment for our pupils has been truly inspiring.

We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to you, our parents and carers. Your support, trust and partnership have been vital in helping us reach this milestone. Your involvement in your children's education and your belief in our school have greatly contributed to our success.

As we celebrate this achievement, we remain focused on our mission to continuously improve and provide the best possible education for our pupils. We are excited about the future and are confident that, together, we will continue to make Delce Academy a place where every child can belong and excel.

PARENT VIEW

As a parent or carer, your views are extremely important to us in our continued drive for school improvement. We will, from time to time, send you questionnaires and response forms on specific or general aspects of school life. We take your responses very seriously and do try to act on them to improve the academy further.

You are also welcome to come in and talk to school staff about any comments or suggestions you have.

Ofsted are also keen to hear your opinions of our school and have created ‘Parent View’ on their website for this purpose. Click here to go Ofsted's Parent View page.
